Without condition

I'm learning to love without condition. To live without regrets. I guess turning 50 later this year has me really thinking about living. I mean really living without just going through the motions. I want my life to matter. And I'm finding out that it isn't about me anymore. The funny thing is that when I learn to forget about my happiness and care about others more then I find I am truly happy. It's strange how that works.

John 13:34-35 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Addision Road has a song called "My Story" which really captures what I want the rest of my life to be about. The final chorus says this:

We are His story, we are His song.
A beautiful melody that shows the world His love.
When we're on this journey, when we're on this road,
We are a part of the greatest story ever told.

I want so much to be a beautiful melody even in the chaos of my life. A melody that shows the world His love. I hope the rest of my journey here on earth will bring Him glory!

God, you are the reason I exist. The reason I rise in the morning and go to sleep at night. Thank you for loving me so much that you have chosen to reveal yourself to me more than I ever thought possible. I love you more and I want my life to show others your love. Help me to love without condition and to continue to live without regrets. Amen.
